Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on ground-up construction projects across Northern Virginia and Maryland, with many in the Dulles corridor. This role is ideal for someone moving from a Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or Foreman into field leadership.

You will assist the Superintendent, coordinate subcontractors, monitor quality, safety, and schedule, and contribute from preconstruction through closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience in ground-up multifamily or commercial construction.
• Able to coordinate subcontractors and field teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in long-term field leadership toward Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily jobsite operations and field execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, and site activities.
• Monitor quality, safety, and schedule performance.
• Support site logistics planning and project execution strategies.
• Conduct site walks and ensure work is per plans and specs.
• Maintain field documentation and project records.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and field personnel.
• Contribute through preconstruction to closeout.
