Job summary

Michael Page refers a role in Ashburn, VA for an Assistant Superintendent supporting a large eight-story podium multifamily project. You will partner with the Senior Superintendent to own scopes, coordinate field operations, and drive safety, schedule, and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in field leadership, ground-up multifamily experience, and proficiency with Procore and MS Project. Local candidates or traveling professionals are welcome.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a field leadership role on construction sites.
• Ground-up multifamily or hotel experience required.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and wood-frame construction.
• Ability to manage a portion of a project with minimal supervision.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and QC.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications preferred; degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Superintendent and oversee phases of construction.
• Own specific scopes including MEP, framing, drywall, finishes.
• Coordinate field operations to meet schedule and safety standards.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, logistics, and daily activities.
• Support project planning, inspections, and problem resolution.
• Utilize Procore and MS Project to track progress and reporting.
• Contribute to delivery of an eight-story podium-style development.
• Grow into lead Superintendent on future Mid-Atlantic projects.
