Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a Ground Execution Lead to support SDA and DoD space programs from its Chantilly, VA operations. This role focuses on planning, execution, and coordination across ground segment systems, with emphasis on requirements closure, testing, and transition to operations.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of satellite/ground systems experience, strong DoW acquisitions background, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A TS clearance and SCI eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 10+ years of satellite and ground systems experience.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS compliance and contract oversight.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• TS Clearance required; SCI eligibility must be attainable.

Responsibilities

• Assist COR/AOR on DoW acquisitions program planning and execution.
• Ensure PWSA Ground Segment requirements closure and transitions to operations.
• Maintain awareness of baseline requirements, interfaces, and integration touchpoints.
• Coordinate and troubleshoot to transition to operations physically and virtually.
• Ensure documentation, infrastructure, environments, and licenses are configured and running.
• Work with mission operations to support CONOPS across DOTMLPF-P.
• Apply problem-solving across the Systems Engineering lifecycle.
