Job summary

DCCA in Colorado is seeking Systems Engineers at all levels with an active TS/SCI clearance to support ground segment system engineering architecture and design.

Responsibilities include traceability of interface control documents, verification planning, cross‑discipline collaboration, mentorship of teams, and presenting to management and customers. Salary range between $75,000 and $230,000, final salary based on CT7-CT11, comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience in ground segment system engineering architecture and design.
• Strong ability to trace requirements to design and interface control documents.
• Leadership and mentorship of technical teams.
• Experience with verification planning and validation methods.
• Ability to present to peers, management and customers.
• Cross‑discipline collaboration with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation and maintenance of ground segment system engineering architecture/design.
• Analyze and implement interface control documents tracing to ground requirements and design.
• Support trade studies, performance analyses, risk and opportunity assessments.
• Oversee and guide management of ground segment capabilities/requirements—allocation, verification, and validation.
• Provide support to ground segment software development.
• Establish verification attributes for requirements/capabilities and test criteria.
• Develop use cases and trace artifacts to architecture constructs.
• Provide leadership/mentorship of technical teams to implement and operate complex ground systems.
• Tailor concepts to meet mission partner needs and work with multiple partners.
• Prepare and give presentations to peers/management/customers.
• Collaborate across cross-discipline teams to maintain a positive work environment.
