SRU Electric LLC is hiring a Telecommunication Construction Laborer to join a small crew on telecom and civil projects. Travel is required; out-of-town work is common during weeks with hotel lodging and per diem provided weekly.

Compensation includes weekly pay, no overtime cap, paid training/recertification, and higher pay for CDL Class A. Benefits include medical/dental/vision after 60 days and 401(k) options. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $29.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sites by clearing obstacles and hazards for work.
• Load/unload materials and assist with digging, backfilling, and leveling.

Telecommunication Construction Laborer

SRU Electric LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to fill a telecom cation construction laborer/civil technician role.

Travel is required and must be able to be out of town during the week and periodic weekends. When staying out of town company pays for hotel and overnight per diem is paid weekly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work as a part of a 3-4 man crew
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Foreman.
• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Digs ditches or trenches, backfills excavations, levels pipes. Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools
• Prepare sites for concrete pours
• Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, manual labor and shovel work, operate power tools
• Perform various labor tasks and other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Key Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Can pass a background check and drug test
• Willingness to travel extensively, including out-of-state trips.
• Willing to work outdoors year-round
• Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in construction
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects by hand or with equipment.
