PCSI is hiring a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic for our Camp Bullis site in San Antonio. The role involves diagnosing malfunctions, reading wiring diagrams, and performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs on facility electrical systems.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience servicing and maintaining grounds equipment.
• Ability to interpret policies, procedures and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, models, drawings or other formats of design and/or instruction.
• Mathematical skills to compute measurements.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in written format.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.

Aufgaben

• Diagnoses malfunctions and repairs while advising and training staff on how to repair less complex maintenance problems.
• Studies drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics to properly inspect and solve repairs issues.
• Use automated maintenance data systems to monitor trends and analyze equipment requirements.
• Use digital multi-meters and hand tools to diagnosis and repair equipment.
• Maintains external fuel and grounding systems while performing regular maintenance, inspections, and tests to ensure serviceability and proper operations.
• Services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, refrigerant and compressed air to diagnose mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment and publications.
• Repairs components and accessories in accordance with waste and hazardous material local and federal environmental standards and regulations.
• Prepares equipment for storage and mobility deployment; and operates, cleans, inspects and services towing vehicles.
• Maintains and update electronic equipment records, also provides dispatch services including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations.
• Ensues tool control, flying object damage prevention and always adheres to safety standards
