Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. Laborer / Facility Cleaner position at our ground support equipment facility entails cleaning units, preparing surfaces, and assisting production and maintenance teams while following safety and quality standards.

Applicants must be 18+, authorized to work in the U.S., possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to communicate in English. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required; lifting up to 50 pounds may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and a solid work ethic.
• Willingness to follow instructions and contribute to a clean, efficient workplace.
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including using electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile Devices).
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and electronically.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs-as applicable).
• Airlines are 24/7, so willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean units and equipment, including removing decals and preparing surfaces as directed.
• Clean and maintain designated work areas, including shop floors, workstations, and equipment surfaces.
• Collect and place scrap or unused materials into designated containers for proper disposal or recycling.
• Assist production and maintenance teams with basic tasks as directed.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Collaborate with team members and follow directions from supervisors.
• Exhibit consistent and dependable attendance.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
