  • Bachelor's degree preferred in aviation, logistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of ground handling/aviation operations experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Authorization to work in the United States if location is US or in Canada if located there.

Position Overview

The Ground Ramp Manager is responsible for overseeing all ramp operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely handling of aircraft on the ground. This role involves managing ramp teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with aviation safety and operational standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Fully understand AGI Health & Safety and Security policies.
  • Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in ground handling or aviation operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage teams in high-pressure environments.
Knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of ramp operations, aviation safety protocols, and ground support equipment.
