Job summary

VT Group (VTG) seeks an experienced Ground Network Systems Engineer and SETA to design, implement, test, and maintain terrestrial components supporting satellite and space-based systems. You will advise on network architecture, security, and data center environments while coordinating with cross-functional teams across multiple sites.

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required. Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of network protocols,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years or more experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with network protocols and network hardware from major vendors.
• Familiarity with Wireshark and virtualization technologies like VMware.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and documentation.
• Ability to travel overseas.
• Organizing meetings, project coordination, and writing and reviewing technical reports.
