Job summary

DCOMM Inc. is seeking a Ground Hand to support construction services on outdoor telecommunications job sites. This entry-level role involves loading, unloading, and transporting materials, assisting with site setup, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

You will operate basic tools, serve as a courier for materials, and help field crews with equipment handling and traffic control while following OSHA safety standards. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment.
• Support job site setup and teardown and keep areas organized and safe.
• Perform yard and grounds maintenance to maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision.
• Deliver supplies to job sites as a courier for materials and tools.
• Inspect materials/tools for damage and report issues; store equipment properly.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards; attend training as needed.
• Assist field teams with placing materials, guiding equipment, and traffic control.
