Job summary

DCOMM Inc. is seeking a Ground Hand to support construction services in Medina, OH. This entry-level position provides hands-on experience assisting with field operations, materials handling, and site setup.

You will work outdoors in all weather, lift heavy loads, and learn safety procedures while supporting aerial and underground crews. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement within the telecommunications construction group.

Qualifications

Experience in construction, utilities, or telecommunications preferred but training provided.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Pass pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug test.
Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
Assist with job site setup and teardown.
Perform yard and grounds maintenance.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment under supervision.
Deliver supplies to job sites as a courier.
Inspect materials and tools for damage and proper storage.
Follow safety procedures and OSHA/DCOMM standards.
Assist field teams with placing materials, guiding equipment, or traffic control.
Perform additional duties to support projects.
