Qualifications

• Active Florida Paramedic license is required.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record.
• AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS must be active.
• NRP certification must be active.
• EVOC completion required.
• Trauma certification (PHTLS/ITLS) within 6 months of hire.
• FP-C/NPT-C/CCP-C within 18 months of hire.
• Minimum 1.5 years as a licensed EMT.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support during transports in adherence to protocols.
• Administer ACLS/PALS medications as needed.
• Assist with inter-facility and intra-facility transfers.
• Maintain ambulances and transport equipment.
• Perform patient assessment and vital signs.
• Participate in meetings and projects to develop LifeFlight program.
