Job summary

City of Waynesboro seeks a Grounds Crew Leader in the Parks & Recreation Grounds Maintenance Division to oversee daily upkeep of our parks, trails, athletic fields, and facilities. You will guide a small crew, assign tasks, and ensure quality workmanship.

Candidates should enjoy hands-on work, be dependable and safety-minded, and have experience with mowing, pruning, mulching, snow removal, and landscaping. You will help create welcoming spaces for the community year-round.

Qualifications

• Comfortable performing outdoor maintenance in all weather conditions.
• Experience with mowing, weed eating, mulching, pruning, snow removal, and landscaping is preferred.
• Must be dependable and safety-minded.
