Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Ground Control Segment Staff Systems Engineer to lead the Mux TACAIR ground segment architecture, rack design, and integration. This on-site role will coordinate with multiple engineering teams, manage BOMs, and drive system verification in collaboration with customers and suppliers.
The position requires a U.S. Government Secret clearance and SAP access, with travel and relocation assistance as applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field with substantial experience in ground systems.Engineering leadership experience across multiple disciplines.
- Experience with ground system/segment architectures for aircraft/UAS advantageous.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance and SAP Access.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, integration, and verification of the ground control segment architecture and hardware.
- Own rack level design for computing and networking, including BOMs and drawings.
- Oversee software/hardware integration, HMI development, and end-to-end system verification.
