Reports to: Histology Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Type: Full-time – 30-40 hours per week
Location: Roseville Histology Lab. Travel to Mohs sites required (Lakeville, Faribault, Hudson, Roseville)
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, schedule varies based on laboratory and Mohs coverage needs.
No weekends or holidays

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are adding a dedicated Grossing and Mohs Technician to our team. The Grossing and Mohs Technician is responsible for playing a key role in supporting Tareen Dermatology’s growing Histology and Mohs Surgery programs. This position is responsible for the gross examination and processing of dermatologic specimens as well as the preparation of Mohs frozen sections for immediate examination during surgery. The technician utilizes specialized laboratory skills to ensure specimen handling, tissue orientation, slide preparation, and quality control while partnering closely with Mohs surgeons and laboratory professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and timely diagnostic results. This position includes work in both the Roseville Histology Laboratory and South Region Mohs locations as needed (including Faribault, Lakeville, Hudson, and Roseville).
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required
At minimum 60 semester hours of college credits – 24 of these hours must be in science courses, which must include:
Previous medical dermatology and laboratory experience preferred
