Job summary

The Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy at LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans invites applications for an academic faculty position at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor on the Instruction (non-tenure) track. Qualifications

• Completion of PhD, MD, or DPT by hire date for Assistant Professor level; higher ranks require teaching experience.
• Ability to teach Gross Anatomy in a classroom and laboratory setting.
• Experience with cadaveric dissection in a health sciences environment preferred.
• Teaching in multiple health professional schools is possible and valued.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Gross Anatomy to students across health professional programs.
• Participate in cadaveric dissection as needed within the department.
• Contribute to curriculum development and educational research activities when appropriate.
