Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a Restaurant Cook who will oversee the Appetite Satisfaction Department, operating the Food Production, Grill, Fryer and related stations. You will prepare and cook orders, portion and dress items, package meals, and ensure quality standards at our busy drive-in.

Candidates should be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, follow directions, communicate effectively, and maintain appearance and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.
• General knowledge of restaurant industry preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders to meet quality standards.
• Operate grill, fryer and other stations as needed.
• Portion and dress items to order and package for service.
• Monitor product quality and consistency; assist with cleaning and sanitation.
