SONIC Drive-In is seeking a Restaurant Cook to manage the Appetite Satisfaction Department by overseeing stations such as Food Production, Grill, Fryer and related tasks. The role involves preparing and cooking orders, portioning food, dressing items to order, packaging, and maintaining quality and cleanliness across stations.

The position emphasizes flexibility in hours, willingness to comply with uniform and hygiene standards, and teamwork to keep the drive-in clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders to meet product quality standards.
• Food preparation and portioning.
• Cook on the grill.
• Operate the fry station.
• Dress items to order.
• Package all menu items and check for product quality and consistency.
• Clean including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counter-tops and sanitizing areas.
