Job summary

Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to manage grooming operations and lead a team of groomers. You will perform expert grooming services, set schedules, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and ongoing development of team members in a fast-paced retail grooming environment. You will oversee inventory, maintain a clean salon, and stay current with grooming trends to deliver top-notch care for every pet while contributing to store

Qualifications

Two+ years of experience as a professional groomer; leadership preferred.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Excellent communication with pets, parents and team.
Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards and safety.
Willingness to work full time including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and scheduling.
Recruit, train, and supervise grooming staff; provide coaching and evaluations.
Perform professional grooming services and ensure safety and cleanliness.
Collaborate with store management to meet salon targets and profitability.
Maintain grooming tools and hygiene standards; ensure high customer satisfaction.
