Job summary

Petco is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist to begin a grooming journey with a ten-week training period covering bathing, drying, nails, and more. You will gain hands-on experience with guidance from seasoned groomers, developing essential grooming skills and a foundation for a career in Petco grooming.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal related experience, including shelter volunteering or pet sitting.
• Genuine passion for animals and a desire to pursue a career in pet grooming.
• Capable of handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform limited grooming services including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, and ear cleaning.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon.
• Interact with pet parents to provide optimal customer service and address inquiries.
