Pet Supplies Plus in the United States is seeking an Experienced Groomer to join our team. You will deliver grooming services, build strong relationships with pet parents, and ensure safety and well-being of every furry customer.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of grooming experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a high school diploma or GED. Flexible scheduling, paid time off for full-time staff, and a sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year grooming experience with formal training or under a certified groomer.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods.
• Provide your own grooming equipment (clippers/blades/scissors).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Candidates must pass drug screening and be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services (brushing, bathing, conditioning).
• Groom and style pets per owner instruction and breed standards.
• Ensure wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Develop long-term relationships with pet parents and recommend products/services.
• Engage with store community to attract new neighbors.
• Complete Safety Training certification.
• Keep grooming area clean and organized.
