Job summary

Destination Pet, LLC is seeking a Groomer with flexible working hours at Bass Pet Resort and Spa in Kissimmee, FL. The role requires professional grooming experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and safe handling of large or nervous dogs.

You’ll groom to breed standards, maintain a clean station, and chat with pet parents about care needs. You will work in a pet-focused environment with a supportive team, competitive perks, and flexible pay options including hourly or commission-based pay.

Qualifications

• Professional grooming experience is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and manage large or nervous dogs safely.
• Exposure to fur, cleaning chemicals, wet pups, accidents and unpredictable zoomies is guaranteed.
• Must be able to work in a physically active environment with heat, cold, water, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Snipping, shaping, and styling pets based on owner preferences or breed standards.
• Trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing teeth, and tidying up the tail end.
• Bathing dogs (or coordinating with bathers to prep pets for grooming).
• Chatting with pet parents about grooming needs and coat care trends.
• Keeping station neat and equipment sharp; assisting with pickup readiness.
