Destination Pet is seeking a Groomer at Gagnon's Pet Resort in Colchester, CT. This part-time position offers commission-based pay with upfront details including 50% commission (40% with bathers) and additional incentives. You will groom a variety of breeds, chat with pet parents, and ensure pets look and feel their best.

Qualifications

• Professional grooming experience is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle dogs safely.
• Ability to work in a physically active environment with heat, chemicals, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Grooming, trimming, and styling pets according to owner preferences or breed standards.
• Bathing dogs and prepping for grooming sessions with bathers as needed.
• Engaging with pet parents to discuss grooming needs and coat care.
• Maintaining a clean, organized station and safe handling of animals.
