Overview

Does your dog have a closet full of clothes? Is your cat so cool he needs to wear shades? We call that “petcentricity”! If you enjoy making pets look adorable and smell irresistible, we are looking for Experienced Groomers to join our team!

*$1,500 sign-on bonus for new groomer hires with 1+ years of experience!*

Responsibilities and Qualifications

As an experienced Groomer at Pet Supplies Plus, you will:

• Provide grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and styling according to breed standards and owner instructions.
• Ensure the wellness and safety of pets during grooming.
• Develop long-term relationships with pet owners by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products and services.
• Engage in community outreach to attract new customers.
• Complete safety training certifications.
• Maintain a clean and inviting grooming environment.
• Assist team members during grooming downtimes.
• Continuously develop your grooming skills and techniques.

PAWsome Groomer candidates should have:

• A High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under a certified groomer.
• The ability to lift pets and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
• Own grooming equipment (clippers, scissors, etc.).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass drug screening where applicable and be at least 18 years old.
