Job Responsibilities

1. Drive the grooming van to appointments in the Green Bay-Appleton area.
2. Perform bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling based on client preferences and breed standards.
3. Ensure pets’ safety and comfort using gentle handling techniques.
4. Assess pets’ coat and skin health, communicating concerns to owners.
5. Educate clients on at-home grooming care and recommend products.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van and equipment.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a pet groomer with knowledge of breed-specific cuts and coat care.
2. Grooming license (required in applicable service areas).
3. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
4. Passion for working with animals and the ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments.
5. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
6. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours.
7. Certification from a grooming school (preferred).
8. Ability to lift pets up to 75 lbs temporarily.
