Pet Supplies Plus in Medina, OH, is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) who is passionate about pets and people. You will learn grooming through Paragon School of Pet Grooming, starting with bathing, brushing, and nail trimming while training online to advance to a groomer role.

The position invites candidates to enjoy a free toolkit upon enrollment in the Paragon program and provides opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time.
Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays.
Candidates must pass a drug screening and a validated selection test and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Delighting Neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
Learning and demonstrating all the skills necessary to become a groomer through the online distance program.
Always ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons.
Developing long-term relationships with Neighbors by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that will keep their pet healthy and happy.
Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting.
Successfully completing Safety Training certification.
Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
