Job summary

Fagron Tech in Wichita, KS, is seeking a Groninger Technician responsible for setup, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Groninger automated filling, stoppering, capping and packaging equipment in an FDA-regulated 503B environment.

The role supports sterile compounded medication production, ensures compliance with cGMP and company procedures, and collaborates with Production, Quality, Validation and Engineering teams. Strong troubleshooting and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
2–5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing or maintenance experience.
Experience with Groninger equipment strongly preferred.
Experience in sterile, aseptic, or injectable manufacturing environments preferred.
Knowledge of automated filling and packaging systems.
Understanding of cGMP requirements and aseptic manufacturing.
Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up Groninger filling and packaging equipment.
Perform changeovers, adjustments, and line clearances.
Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and records.
Support validations, investigations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Validation, and Engineering teams.
