Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to support the Grocery department, receiving and stocking products while maintaining clean, inviting displays. You will help customers, uphold quality standards, and work with the team to ensure fast, friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked, front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing outdated products.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leads.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps areas full and neat.
• Completes required spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Participates in periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures on weights, health and sanitation, and safety.
