Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support grocery operations, stock shelves, prep displays, and assist with the sampling program. You will maintain clean, fresh displays, follow safety and sanitation rules, and deliver friendly service to customers and teammates. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong customer focus.

No prior retail experience is required. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 6–8 hours.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays by facing cases and stocking shelves.
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and leaders.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program and keep areas tidy.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks.
• Arrive on time, groomed and ready to work; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking and merchandising.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation procedures; ensure clean and safe work areas.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties and verify pricing.
• Report safety hazards and assist with other duties as assigned.
