Job summary

Heinen’s Inc. in Mayfield, OH is hiring a Grocery Associate full-time to support daily operations in the grocery department.

You will prioritize tasks, learn product knowledge, write orders, stock, and assist customers while upholding safety and quality standards. The role offers an hourly wage between $13.00 and $21.00 with opportunities for promotion, flexible scheduling including weekends, and a culture focused on associate development and customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.

• Willingness to work non-traditional five-day schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Acquire and share knowledge of Grocery Department.
• Responsible for writing orders using effective pars and planning.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks: scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
