As a Grocery Team Member, you will support multiple areas of the store while delivering exceptional customer service and potential training as a cashier across departments such as produce, dairy, bulk foods, freight, and quality control.

You will stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise, assist with store navigation, and participate in cleaning and safety routines.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory.
• Willingness to cross-train and work in multiple departments.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting/bending.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service throughout the store.
• Perform cashiering responsibilities by ringing up customers.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and sanitation of all front-end areas.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise in various departments.
• Support multiple store functions (produce, dairy, bulk foods, freight, QC, scanning/inventory).
• Receive, organize, and replenish products to maintain department standards.
• Perform light janitorial duties daily.

Job Purpose

As a Grocery Team Member , you will play an important role in supporting multiple areas of the store while providing exceptional customer service. Team members are hired with the opportunity to be trained as cashiers and cross-trained throughout the store, including produce, dairy, bulk foods, freight, quality control, and scanning/inventory. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, learning new skills, and being part of a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service throughout the store, including assisting customers with product questions and store navigation

Perform cashiering responsibilities by ringing up customers with friendliness and efficiency

Ensure the safety, cleanliness and sanitation of all front-end areas.

Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise in various departments

Support produce, dairy, bulk foods, freight, quality control, and scanning/inventory functions as assigned

Receive, organize, and replenish products to maintain department standards

Perform light janitorial and other duties daily as assigned
