Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently 45 pounds, and occasionally 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform general back-of-store support and maintenance.
• Bag groceries and carry items for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store.
• Retrieve and store carts, run price checks, and assist with go-backs.
• Assist with check stand upkeep and remove parking area waste.
• Follow store policies and procedures regarding safety and customer service.
