Qualifications

• Two-plus years related management experience; Associate Degree preferred or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to follow written, oral or diagrammed instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in varied conditions; vision requirements.
• Exposure to varying weather and moderate noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 100–150 team members in the store.
• Hire, train, and develop associates; plan, assign and direct work.
• Maintain store conditions per standards; ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Maximize store sales and profits.
• Manage shrink, inventory, and CGO functions; maintain staffing needs.
• Coordinate with Price Rite staff and Wakefern where applicable.
• Foster teamwork, morale, and productive work culture; address issues.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor competitive activity in the local market.
• Perform other duties as assigned; obtain Food Safety Certification when required.
