Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is hiring a Grocery Clerk to keep shelves stocked, labeled, and inviting. You will ensure products are easy to find and provide friendly, helpful service in a fast-paced store environment.

Your day includes stocking, pricing, item rotation, assisting customers, and maintaining attractive displays while supporting other departments and following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift boxes weighing 30+ pounds safely.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching throughout shift.
• Can climb ladders and move around tight spaces when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and great communication skills.
• A positive, customer-first attitude and team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Stocking shelves neatly and safely with grocery items.
• Ensuring all items are labeled and priced correctly.
• Rotating stock and checking expiration dates.
• Assisting customers with locating products.
• Maintaining product displays so they look great and organized.
• Supporting other departments when needed, including bagging and carrying groceries for customers.
• Following all store policies, safety guidelines, and local regulations.
