Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. in Minnesota Lakeville is seeking a Stocker to keep store shelves full, organized and ready for customers. You'll help unload trucks, rotate product and assist shoppers throughout the day, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

No prior experience required; we provide training. You’ll work with a friendly team, greet customers, maintain cleanliness, and support various store areas. The position is hourly with a starting wage between $13.00 and $16.25.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; we’ll train you.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.
• Use basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates in a friendly, helpful way.
• Stay organized and keep up with the pace of a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find what they need throughout the store.
• Assist customers with locating products and handling feedback or requests.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Monitor mis-picked items, stockouts, and incorrect deliveries and report issues.
• Organize stock for efficiency and restock damaged items; tag shelves with overstock.
• Operate the register for customer purchases as needed.
• Stock supplies and assist with outside maintenance like snow removal and cart return.
• Keep store clean including restrooms, breakrooms, and backrooms.
• Help train new stockers on duties as needed.
