Job summary

Harps Food Stores is seeking a part-time Stocker to assist in grocery operations and ensure product availability on the sales floor. You will help with stocking, pricing, displays, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while supporting customer needs.

The role requires flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with ongoing attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Adaptable to different situations and shifting priorities.
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support grocery department operations including readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, department goals and cleanliness, and safe use of equipment.
• Support replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing, back stock, reclamation and returns, damages and reworks, supply use and inventory preparation.
• Support merchandising and sales floor standards including stocking, rotation, signing, displays, sampling and department procedures.
• Define issues up front and use critical thinking to obtain answers through a conscious, organized approach.
• Maintain safety and quality by following procedures and staying aware of hazards.
