Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Preferably have previous stocking experience in a grocery setting.

Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise grocery products.
• Ensure order and invoice accuracy for deliveries.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Ensures all items are rotated by First In First Out (FIFO) standards
• Maintains and organizes back-stock and warehouse storage areas according to department standards
• Adheres to all guidelines about product recommendations and information
• Communicates grocery needs, adjustments, and problems to grocery manager promptly and efficientlyMaintains a safe and cleanly work environment in accordance with department, state and federal regulations
• Performs light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, and packaging disposal as necessary
• Works with colleagues as a team; maintains a positive attitude and a willingness to help others
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

A Retail Stocker is responsible for stocking and displaying grocery products while providing outstanding guest service. Reports to the Market Manager and Assistant Market Managers.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, rotates, merchandises and faces product according to department procedures
• Receives product deliveries, ensures order and invoice accuracy and notes discrepancies
• Checks to ensure all grocery items are merchandised attractively as per quality standards
• Ensures all items are rotated by First In First Out (FIFO) standards
• Maintains and organizes back-stock and warehouse storage areas according to department standards
• Adheres to all guidelines about product recommendations and information
• Communicates grocery needs, adjustments, and problems to grocery manager promptly and efficientlyMaintains a safe and cleanly work environment in accordance with department, state and federal regulations

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

• Ability to use hand truck, cart, box cutter, ladder, label maker and cleaning supplies
