Job summary

Lowes Foods in Lyman, SC is seeking a Grocery Stocker to keep guest service strong and the department operating smoothly. You will stock, rotate, and condition groceries on shelves, maintain a neat, safe sales floor, and assist with deliveries to support daily store performance.

Candidates should be friendly, able to work with others, lift 40–60 lbs, read and follow directions, and communicate effectively with guests and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly and able to interact with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs constantly and 60 lbs occasionally.
• Basic reading and understanding of instructions and directions.
• Knowledge of grocery operations is preferred.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and systems.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and condition grocery products on shelves according to Lowes Foods standards and productivity guidelines.
• Maintain neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom area.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control, rotation of the shelves and overstock, and proper product handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
• Perform front-end duties as necessary to ensure “no noticeable wait” standard is upheld and maintained.
• Assist with grocery department inventory.
• Ensure adequate product level throughout the grocery department to maximize sales and minimize excessive inventory.
