Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a grocery team member to provide friendly guest service and maintain shelves and backstock in a fast-paced department. You will stock, rotate, and condition products, keep the area tidy, and assist with deliveries while upholding safety standards.

The role involves lifting and moving products, operating a pallet jack, and supporting front-end duties to minimize wait times. Candidates should be reliable and ready to learn multiple tasks within a team.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing demeanor essential for guest interactions.
• Ability to work well with others and support store operations.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 40 lbs.; up to 60 lbs. for some tasks.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of grocery operations and store standards.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and tools.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts and operate a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate, and condition grocery products on shelves according to standards.
• Maintain neat and safe work area for guests.
• Maintain organized backstock in the backroom area.
• Minimize damage and shrink through inventory control and proper handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise on delivery.
• Maintain sanitation on sales floor and backroom.
• Communicate temperature issues to supervisor (dairy/frozen).
• Perform front-end duties to ensure no noticeable wait times.
• Order product for aisles as assigned by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
