Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support the Grocery team by receiving and stocking products, maintaining displays, and delivering friendly, efficient service in line with WFM standards.

Responsibilities include stock rotation, shelf maintenance, and assisting with sampling programs, while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself with products.
• Ability to perform simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to convey information clearly to customers, Team Members, and vendors.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions.
• Ability to follow directions, manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by front-facing, stocking and rotating products.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy case.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps areas full and appealing.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature and sweep worksheets.
• Helps with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and models suggestive selling techniques.
