Qualifications

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise and manage inventory.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise on shelves.
• Ability to lift up to seventy pounds for a significant portion of the shift.
• Must follow written and verbal instructions and maintain store standards.
• Stand for extended periods and maintain a neat appearance per dress code.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading, stocking, and organizing grocery items on shelves and displays.
• Transport stock for storage to the sales floor.
• Open cartons and price items accurately per company guidelines.
• Keep shelves fully stocked and organized according to tag allocations.
• Assist in building store displays and end displays.
• Rotate perishable merchandise and remove out-of-code products as needed.
• Maintain proper merchandise presentation and rotate stock with supervisor check-ins.
• Greet customers and observe store policies while on the floor.
