Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for a grocery associate to maintain product levels, ensure quality, and support customers in a fast-paced store environment.

You will stock shelves, operate equipment safely, rotate inventory, and assist shoppers with prices and product locations while upholding food safety standards and company policies. This role may require evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16
• Minimum age 18 to operate equipment
• On-the-job training provided
• Ability to learn new systems and processes

Responsibilities

• Maintains full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Opens pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.
• Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold.
• Inspects product for quality and maintains quality control and food safety standards.
• Collects empty cardboard boxes and other trash and places into bailer.
• Assists fellow partners and customers by responding to price checks.
• Promotes product sales through suggestive selling initiatives.
• Provides friendly, customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers and responding to questions.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by following safety procedures.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
• Takes precautionary safety measures when using equipment and work tools.
