The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at 8501 Hospital Dr, Douglasville, GA 30134. You will bag groceries at checkout, assist customers, and help keep aisles clean while following safety and food-safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger bags groceries at checkout for customers and assists in loading bags into customers' cars.
• Bagging follows best practices for various bag types (reusable, plastic, paper) and aims for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout and help with shelving and price checks for cashiers.
• Inform customers of groceries specials and return merchandise to store shelves; gather bascarts and return to designated areas.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside store and parking lot; clean all areas inside and outside of store; practice preventive maintenance and report needed repairs.
• Understand store layout, location of products, and respond to customer questions to create a welcoming environment; adhere to safety and food safety regulations.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines; work cooperatively in high-paced or stressful environments and manage conflicts calmly.
