Job summary

Kroger in Dearborn Heights, MI is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to provide outstanding customer service, bag groceries, and help maintain a safe and welcoming store environment. You will assist customers, stock shelves, and ensure cleanliness throughout the store and parking lot.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers
• Assist in loading bags into customers' cars when needed
• Follow bagging best practices for reusable, plastic, and paper bags
• Help bring merchandise from stock to shelves and locate products
• Inform customers about grocery specials and store layout
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and price checks for cashiers
• Maintain a clean store and parking lot; report spills and hazards
• Greet customers and reinforce safety procedures
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather carts
• Follow local, state and federal laws and company policies
