Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to provide outstanding customer service at the Birmingham, MI location. You will bag groceries at checkout, assist customers with loading bags into their cars, and help maintain clean, safe store conditions.

This role supports store operations by performing basic shelf conditioning and assisting customers with product location and inquiries. Experience in retail is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist in loading bags into customer vehicles.
• Ensure items are bagged carefully to avoid damage.
• Follow bagging best practices for reusable/plastic/paper bags.
• Assist in retrieving items from bascarts and return to shelves.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and help locate products.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; report hazards.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and price checks when needed.
