Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department stocked, organized, and appealing; builds displays to drive sales and rotates merchandise to ensure freshness.
• Smiles and greets customers; answers questions and resolves concerns promptly in a polite manner.
• Ensures products are on shelves with correct prices and signs; uses proper stocking techniques.
• Assists with receiving, unloading, and stocking deliveries with powered equipment if trained.
• Removes damaged or discontinued items per policy; keeps shelves clean and merchandised.
• Maintains sanitation, follows cleaning schedules, and ensures work areas meet health and OSHA standards.
• Follows security regulations; maintains productivity and shrink control; assists with backroom organization.
• May assist with baling cardboard or other duties; cooperates with coworkers and supervisors.
• Responsible for PPE usage; may work in other departments as needed.
