Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department well stocked, organized and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Build displays to drive incremental sales and rotate merchandise for freshness.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns promptly.
• Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are correctly located and priced.
• Assists with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries (training provided).
• Handles damaged or discontinued items per company policy.
• Maintains sanitation in the department and adheres to health and OSHA requirements.
• Maintains productivity standards and shrink control; complies with security regulations.
• Assists with baling cardboard or related duties as trained.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department function.
• Uses PPE per company policy.
