Job summary

Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department stocked, organized, and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions, and helps resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are properly located on shelves with correct prices and signs.
• May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries when trained.
• Handles damaged or discontinued items according to company policy and removes unsellable stock.
• Maintains sanitation in the department and follows cleaning schedules to meet health and OSHA requirements.
• Keeps work areas clean, maintains PPE, and adheres to safety guidelines.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
