Job summary

ShopRite of Ramsey in New Jersey is seeking a Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and to maintain a neat, organized warehouse. This role supports a safe, efficient operation and serves customers with a friendly, helpful approach.

The position is part-time and non-union, offering an hourly rate of $18.00 to $20.00. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage after 30 days, paid time off, and a 401K plan. Training will be provided to develop essential skills.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Able to stand/walk for whole shift and lift up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally.
• Comfort working with fresh, dried, or processed foods and in temperature-controlled environments.
• Interaction with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify deliveries for accuracy (cost, retail, quantity).
• Maintain clean, neat, and safe storage areas and work surfaces.
• Greet customers and provide prompt assistance.
• Uphold safety procedures and QA standards during duties.
• Assist with packaging, stocking, and inventory control.
