Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Dallas, TX is hiring for a DSD Receiver/Stock Associate to support daily store operations with focus on accurate receiving, inventory integrity and delivering excellent customer service.

You will assist the department manager in meeting sales and profit goals, maintain a safe and clean environment, and promote the company's Customer 1st strategy and core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Report safety risks or issues and unusual activity.
• Notify management of accidents.
• Develop and train back-up receivers.
• Ensure maximum security of receiving area.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs.
• Maintain proper temperatures and logs for cases and coolers.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Manage inventory for delivered product.
• Process damaged/returned goods and paperwork.
• Verify condition, quantity, pricing, and temperature of received product.
• Ensure receiving tools function properly for smooth transitions.
• Record discrepancies to the department manager.
• Label, stock and inventory merchandise.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Handle high pace and stress well.
• Resolve conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with information.
• Follow directions and seek help as needed.
• Provide support interacting with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
